Gulf of Mexico is a North American map added to OpenFront in Update 34.0 by LounNight — the whole Gulf basin from Texas and the Mississippi delta round to Florida, Cuba, the Bahamas and the Yucatán.

The map features 37 named nations, including Jamaica, Havana, Santiago de Cuba, Camagüey, The Bahamas and Miami, plus a pool of 50 additional coastal nations (Texas, Louisiana, Florida, Mexican and Cuban cities) that the game can draw on to fill larger lobbies.
